Bert’s Beauty Shots: Wet Bees and Raindrops

It has been a rainy week up here. It did rain in most of the ports we visited. Some people see it as a disappointment but guess what; the weather is not going to change. Make the most out of it. For most people going to Alaska is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and thus don’t let the rain stand in the way. Go out, sunny Alaska is great, rainy Alaska is as pretty as that. Still the same flowers, still the same nature and wild life. You just have to go out with an open mind and voila, the rainy world can turn into a very interesting place to be. After a heavy rain shower in Juneau last week, I noticed the rain on the flowers, wet bees and reflections of the flowers inside the raindrops.

What I mentioned before, change your position. Change your eye level and the world looks quite amazing!
